It’s official! The 1st annual 2Toms “Worst Blister Challenge” has ended! And did we get some of the nastiest entries ever!

Don’t know what the “Worst Blister Challenge” is? Well you should!! It is a contest we hosted on Facebook. We wanted to see your nastiest blister! So we asked for contestants to take a picture and enter it into the contest. Then the pictures were voted on! Not by us… by the fans! The contestant with the most votes by the end of the contest won a 2Toms Care Package full of blister and chafing prevention products!

So today is the day! After tallying all the votes… the winner is (drum roll please)…

She got that nasty blister during Mile #8 of the Boston Marathon this year! Can you imagine running with that thing on your foot?! OUCH!!

I have just bought some new shoes and have been getting blisters around the heel. I tried a new (at least new to me) product in hopes that it would relieve the hot spot in the area. I used the 2Toms sports shield before my last 2 runs and it was great. I had no irritation in the area or any other areas that usually get a little tender.

I live in Florida so even a short run gets everything soaking wet, and I can feel hot spots start to develop. With another run, I used the blister shield product in my socks as directed. Again, I was impressed with how dry it kept my feet. I did not feel the slipping around in my shoes that I normally do and had no hot spots to worry about.

I would recommend both of these products and the customer service with the company was great. They have a great facebook page where you can enter their “Worst Blister Challenge” and win some free products. I like the company and I love there products. Check out 2Toms and train blister free.

“I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I used SportShield for the first time when I trekked the Breast Cancer 3-Day, which is a 60-mile walk over a three-day period! “I wanted to let you know that I used 2Toms BlisterShield on several long runs and during a 28 mile trail race last Saturday and it is the best. In fact, it’s the only product I’ve ever used for blister prevention. I can’t stand vaseline or the equivalent on my feet, and usually just expect to get blisters… sometimes disasterously. Your product disappears immediately and you don’t know that you put it in the socks. It doesn’t create slippage in the shoe, and seems to keep working despite repeated dunkings in knee-deep rivers during the race. I emerged with fewer blisters (zero, in fact) than I normally get on a dry road marathon. Oh, and I placed 2nd. Thanks!”
